Total Rewards Manager

Where the Chemistry Happens...

We are looking for a Talent Rewards Manager like you to join our team You will report to the Head of People, Canada and will be responsible for overseeing the total rewards strategy for Canada. You will be accountable for the delivery of any reviews of the compensation and benefits structures, strategic oversight of the Canadian Pension & Savings Plans, alignment of plans and strategies with North America Total Rewards team and ownership of external contracts with key vendors within the total rewards remit.

  • Review and implement total rewards strategy for Canada, which includes attracting, developing, and engaging talent in a performance-driven culture.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current total rewards programs and propose changes to improve them.
  • Ensure the rewards programs are sustainable, scalable, and positively impact the organization's performance.
  • Be responsible to implement annual merit and bonus cycles; annually review salary surveys and design salary structures.
  • Manage external rewards and benefits contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and managing vendor relationships.
  • Develop training and communications to educate leaders and employees on the organization's compensation philosophy, programs, and practices.
  • Oversee Canada's pension and savings plan activities and manage all Canadian Total Rewards policies and reviews.
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on compensation, benefits, and pension.
  • A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) preferred.
  • Strong experience/knowledge in total rewards including managing the design, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs Global total rewards experience, especially in North America and Europe.
  • Demonstrated experience with compensation principles and concepts, including knowledge of job evaluation, pay structure, variable pay experience, pay equity legislation, annual merit budgeting, and the use of competitive pay analysis.
  • Proactive leader with proven decision-making skills and the ability to manage expectations effectively to successfully achieve multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to translate and present to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of SAP is important.
  • Project Management skills: leading projects, scoping, implementing, and monitoring progress.
  • Collaborative team player and ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
