Senior Delivery Lead

As a Senior Delivery Lead, you will contribute to the overall success of the Canadian Banking Engineering team by aligning bank strategic goals to key initiatives. Your role will ensure specific goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives from discovery to implementation, overseeing all phases and proactively identifying issues/risks.
  • Take and promote accountability across teams from discovery to production.
  • Proactively manage risks to limit issues and maintain productivity.
  • Work autonomously and collaborate with other business or technology leaders to establish and execute on common outcomes.
  • Champion a growth mindset focused on customer value-based outcomes.
  • Thrive on ambiguity and embrace challenges as opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Good working understanding of agile practices, project management principles, and tools to manage complex initiatives.
  • Ability to work with complex project forecasts and manage actual spending.
  • Professional with excellent communication skills, organization, and emotional intelligence.
  • Hungry for growth and learning, with a passion for innovation and customer value.
  • University degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years in progressive roles within Engineering/Technology, including at least 2 years leading a team.
  • Command presence, charisma, and ability to influence others for the good of the individual, team, and organization.
  • Team player with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to success.
