About the Role
As a Commercial Banking Agricultural Analyst Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of experienced professionals in delivering customized lending, deposit, cash management, and trade finance solutions to mid and large-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Commercial business customers by understanding their businesses and providing actionable recommendations to support credit decisions.
- Conduct in-depth company and industry analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare and present financial models and credit analysis to support sound credit decisions.
- Collect and assimilate information necessary to make informed credit decisions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by minimizing touch points and ensuring fast turnaround times.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with Commercial business customers.
- Enrolled in an undergrad/post-secondary degree in Food and Agricultural Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Prior experience in providing customer needs-based advice and solutions.
- Natural curiosity and passion for satisfying customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
