Devoirs et responsabilités:

Fournir un soutien administratif connexe aux gestionnaires de projet, aux équipes de projet et aux surintendants de site pour les projets assignés individuellement.
Aider les chefs de projet dans l'organisation et la distribution des documents et des dessins liés au projet provenant des fabricants, des fournisseurs et des sous-traitants.

Mettre en place et tenir à jour des classeurs de démarrage de projet.
Créer, consigner et suivre toutes les communications et documentations nécessaires liées aux projets assignés.
Négocier et gérer les contrats avec les sous-traitants et les fournisseurs, au besoin.
Contrôle des documents de tous les documents du site.
Participer activement aux réunions opérationnelles telles que les réunions de livraison de projet, les réunions du personnel, les revues de projet.
Participer aux revues de projet pour favoriser l'amélioration continue et des processus au sein de Modern Niagara.
Effectuer des tâches connexes supplémentaires au besoin sous la direction du gestionnaire d'embauche.

Qualifications et exigences du poste :
Doit être parfaitement bilingue; Français et anglais
Études postsecondaires en gestion de la construction/génie mécanique ou combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience.
Une expérience d'au moins 1+ ans en coordination de projet dans l'industrie de la construction ou de la construction mécanique est préférable.
Solides connaissances pratiques des produits Microsoft Office, notamment Outlook, Word, Excel et PowerPoint
Une connaissance préalable des logiciels de gestion de projets et/ou de construction est très avantageuse
Expérience antérieure et exposition à la gestion financière de projets, un atout
Une grande attention aux détails et des compétences organisationnelles associées à de solides compétences en lecture et en écriture
Compétences de communication claires et efficaces avec la capacité de développer des relations de travail productives durables et durables avec des collègues, des sous-traitants et d'autres parties prenantes associées aux projets assignés.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide related administrative support to Project Managers, Project Teams, and Site Superintendents for individually assigned projects.
Aid Project Managers in the organization and distribution of project-related documents and drawings from manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Perform data system entries such as setting up purchase orders for subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers; inputting change orders and distributing change notices to necessary parties; updating monthly WIP forecast sheets and construction schedules.
Set up and maintain project start-up binders.
Create, log and track all necessary communication and documentation related to assigned projects.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors where required.
Document control of all site paperwork.
Actively participate in operational meetings such as project delivery meetings, staff meetings, project reviews.
Participate in project reviews to foster continuous and process improvements within Modern Niagara.
Perform additional related duties as required under the direction of the hiring manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be fluently bilingual; French and English
Post-secondary education in Construction Management/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1+ years' Project Coordination experience within the Construction or Mechanical Contracting industry is preferred.
Strong working knowledge across Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous working knowledge across project and/or construction management software's is highly advantageous
Previous experience and exposures with project financial management an asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills coupled with strong reading and writing skills
Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to develop long-lasting and sustainable productive working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and additional partners associated to assigned projects.
Driven individual with a strong sense of urgency. Comfortable in working within a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Resourceful individual with strong problem-solving skills. Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Energetic individual who works effectively within a team, but also on their own initiative.
