**Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Department Coordinator to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Pharmacy Department Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the acquisition, preparation, checking, and distribution of medications and pharmaceutical products and supplies to nursing units, facilities, and other community-based healthcare services.
- Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of medications and supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports related to medication inventory, usage, and distribution.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the pharmacy department's performance and efficiency.
**Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Technician certificate.
- Licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
