We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at LINK-X TRANSPORT INC.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers and ensure timely completion.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including scheduling assignments and coordinating activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Track and complete work orders, prepare and submit reports, and maintain work records and logs.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and follow up on issues with work orders.
  • Keep track of shipments, knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, and knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a team environment.
Work Environment:

The Transportation Logistics Coordinator will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
