**Digital Modeling Artist Wanted for CG Animated Film**

We're looking for a skilled Digital Modeling Artist to join our team.

  • Translate 2D designs into 3D objects.
  • Create natural elements for environments in alignment with the project's creative style and direction.
  • Collaborate with designers, surfacing artists, and technical directors to facilitate optimal shot production.
  • Collaborate with surfacing artists to ensure models match aesthetic and creative requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure all necessary designs are created.
  • Creatively develop models to achieve the project's set standard of modeling and establishing the level of complexity for environments.

**Requirements:**

  • High level proficiency in using Maya and ZBrush.
  • Advanced ability to work with polygonal and subdivision topologies to create surface models.
  • Ability to mentor and train, open to feedback and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Department Supervisor and production management team to organize workflow and completion.

**Software:**

  • ZBrush
  • Maya

**Nice to Have:**

  • Degree and/or diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment within their discipline.
