About the Role

Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Executive Compensation Consultant to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our Career Consulting business, you will work with senior management and boards to develop executive compensation strategies that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement executive compensation strategies that align with clients' business objectives
  • Provide consulting services on remuneration issues, including competitiveness of pay, performance measurement, and governance and regulatory implications
  • Design short-term and long-term incentive programs that reinforce clients' strategic objectives
  • Assess current pay and program features, relative to the market and to the clients' unique situations
  • Lead day-to-day interaction with clients and structure and/or review client deliverables
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 8+ years' relevant work experience in executive compensation
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Knowledge of HR business processes
  • Strong finance and accounting skills
  • Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities
