Job Summary

Seequent Limited is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation policies, programs, and solutions that align with our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate jobs within the organization with a global view under the direction of the Total Rewards Lead.
  • Review and provide guidance in job descriptions as part of the job evaluation and leveling process.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and recommendation for global market ranges.
  • Lead the participation in market compensation surveys with previous experience in both Mercer and Willis Towers Watson.
  • Work as a strategic partner with Human Resources and Business/Functional leaders, providing advice and consultation on compensation-related matters in supporting recruitment activities.
  • Provide compensation data validation and process documentation support.
  • Participate in the company-wide annual compensation review.
  • Participate in HCM implementation project as required.

Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business) with 7+ years of compensation experience preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise in North American compensation and executive compensation practices and global compensation experience preferred.
  • Experience with equity-based long-term incentive plans preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP Success Factors, and Workday compensation modules.
  • Results-focused with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility and ability to work collaboratively across all levels in the organization.
  • Industry knowledge and legislative awareness.
  • Excellent customer service, communications, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

Office-based working environment, work from our Calgary office three or more days per week.

Contract will be six months to one year.
