About the Opportunity

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all designated MRI suites, including instruction of students and direction of staff. The successful candidate will perform imaging procedures and patient care duties, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and the public. The MRI Technologist will also be responsible for complex procedures, including indirect supervision of the radiologist.

About You

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) MRI exam and certification
  • Previous MRI experience preferred
  • Demonstrate competency in I.V. insertion
  • Frequent independent decisions assessing diagnostic results
  • Ensures competency and maintains an ongoing interest in updating knowledge on new equipment and procedures
  • Practices excellent patient care and demonstrates effective communication skills
  • Highly adaptable professional who can think critically and thrive as a member of a dynamic team
  • Competencies in other languages an asset
