Our goal is to empower shoppers with a singular account that simplifies their interactions with brands, enabling effortless brand discovery, streamlined transactions, and real-time order tracking. With features like Sign in with Shop, buyers can save discounts, view their orders, and unlock personalized recommendations, all while enjoying the convenience of Shop Pay for quick and secure checkouts.

You'll get to do things like:

  • Structure and solve complex and ambiguous business issues for the Shop team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how teams work and identify bottlenecks, streamline communication, and help us focus and move faster to make merchants successful.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align product planning and drive momentum for cycle planning.
  • Gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly and problem-solve effectively.
  • Build systems for constant alignment, accountability, and feedback, and drive their rhythm.
  • Provide visibility and alignment on Shop team objectives and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with frontline teams, Data, and UX Research to disseminate insights that lead to data-informed product development, ensuring the right people are involved in critical decisions early, regardless of the team they're on.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness, while escalating areas of opportunities/risks to Shop Leadership, all while building communication bridges between senior leaders and hands-on teams building our products.

**Key Responsibilities**

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Shop team with a strong operational rhythm.
  • Driving high-priority initiatives for the team you are supporting and potentially broadly across Shop.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Escalating areas of opportunities/risks to Shop Leadership.

**What You'll Need**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience successfully leading complex operational and strategic initiatives for senior stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset to deliver impact in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to dive deep into problems and communicate credibly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience of problem-solving and analytical skills, including modeling and presentation skills.
  • Experience in designing minimum viable processes, thinking in systems while rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities, proven at getting things done in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment.
