The Shop team is dedicated to transforming the shopping experience by creating a seamless and personalized journey across all commerce touchpoints. Our goal is to empower shoppers with a singular account that simplifies interactions with brands, enabling effortless discovery, streamlined transactions, and real-time order tracking.
You'll be responsible for:
- Structuring and solving complex business issues for the Shop team.
- Developing a deep understanding of team dynamics and identifying bottlenecks to streamline communication and improve focus.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to align product planning and drive momentum for cycle planning.
- Gathering and analyzing large amounts of information quickly and problem-solving effectively.
- Building systems for constant alignment, accountability, and feedback, and driving their rhythm.
- Providing visibility and alignment on Shop team objectives and initiatives.
- Collaborating with frontline teams, Data, and UX Research to disseminate insights that lead to data-informed product development.
- Building and developing relationships with key stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
As a Senior Product Operations Manager, you'll:
- Complete the Shopify technical training and onboarding program within the first 30 days.
- Develop relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
- Support the Shop team with a strong operational rhythm while driving high-priority initiatives.
- Drive high-impact results across large parts of the organization after approximately two years.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives for senior stakeholders.
- An entrepreneurial mindset to deliver impact in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to dive deep into problems and communicate credibly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and analytical skills, including modeling and presentation skills.
- Experience designing minimum viable processes and thinking in systems.
- Strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
