About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Aecon Industrial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and investigate any incidents or near-misses.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure project quality.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, safety records, and training documentation.
  • Interface with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a strong background in heavy civil formwork and concrete placement.
  • Proven track record of successfully coordinating and executing construction projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
  • Knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements, and jurisdiction.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic presentation skills and blueprint understanding.
