Job Summary

We are looking for a volunteer to provide companionship and support to our patients and residents at Glenbrook Lodge Nursing Home. As a Friendly Visitor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and residents
  • Engage in conversation and activities with patients and residents
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities as needed
  • Respect patient and resident confidentiality and dignity
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 14 years of age
  • Must be able to commit to a regular schedule
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and residents
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
