Property Unit Claims Manager

Property Unit Claims Manager role requires leadership and management skills to achieve key business goals, drive results, and develop organizational initiatives.

As a Property Unit Claims Manager, you will provide leadership and manage the operations to achieve key business goals, including communicating corporate vision and values. You will drive results by implementing appropriate performance expectations and management through effectively coaching and mentoring employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and managing operations to achieve key business goals
- Driving results by implementing performance expectations and management
- Developing and recommending organizational initiatives to support company strategies
- Auditing staff files and providing feedback and/or training as determined
- Acting in a consultative and advisory capacity on claims matters
- Providing effective leadership and maintaining a respectful and productive business relationship with vendors and internal client groups
- Ensuring corporate policies, claims standards, and procedures are being followed
Requirements include:
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience and effective coaching of employees
- Strong knowledge of the claims process and policy interpretation
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff
- Commitment toward ongoing self-development
- Ability to focus on what is important, be curious and ask why
- A can-do attitude
