About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agronomic Excellence Summer Associate to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our AP team, you will play a critical role in conducting field trials, evaluating canola hybrids, and developing regional agronomic practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field trials with the local Agronomic Excellence group to evaluate canola hybrids and agronomic practices.
  • Assist with field trial activities from seeding to harvest, including seed setup, land preparation, planting, pest control, plot maintenance, and harvesting.
  • Regularly travel in your local region for field scouting and crop health diagnosis through daily monitoring of field and research plots, data collection, and analysis.
Requirements
  • Strong agronomic competence attained through pursuing a degree in Agriculture or a related field, along with experience in the Agriculture Industry.
  • Familiarity and practical experience with agriculture equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to deliver results in pursuit of both individual and team goals.
  • Previous experience in agriculture field research is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and modify plans as situations arise, minimizing impact on results.
  • Driver's license.
