Server Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality. As a Server Assistant, you will provide exceptional support to our Servers, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Support Servers by inspecting tables for proper mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness.
- Practice Floor Awareness and maintain exceptional knowledge of all food and beverage items.
- Assist with Food Running and monitor food quality to ensure O&B presentation standards.
- Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Monitor Cleanliness and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure Condiments and Fridge Stock are properly maintained.
- Monitor Food Quality and Presentation to ensure high standards are met.
- Follow Food Safety Standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform Administrative Tasks such as emptying garbage, changing linen bags, and disposing of waste.
- Communicate Guest Feedback to Servers to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification is a requirement.
- High Attention to Detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Organizational Skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong Oral Communication Skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
- High Level of Product Knowledge and ability to maintain a high level of urgency and momentum.
