Purpose:

As the Investment Advisor, you are responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to the National Branch.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Successfully complete all client documentation transfer from original branch
  • Adhere to branch protocol when providing investment advice to clients to meet investment objectives
  • Manage existing client relationships and promote products and services
  • Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies, remaining up to date with regulatory rules and trading activities
  • Display a high level of integrity and professionalism in all dealings with internal and external clients
  • Share knowledge and experience to enhance team development and participate in meetings


Requirements:


  • Successfully completed CSC, CPH, and 30 day IRT Training (RR Licensing preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and client service focus
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • A clear understanding of industry and firm compliance regulations
  • Strong self-management and results orientation, with many administrative duties
  • Proficiency in ScotiaMcLeod trading and account management systems considered an asset
