Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treaty Associate to join our team at Munich Re. As a key member of our reinsurance team, you will be responsible for drafting and interpreting reinsurance treaties, amendments, and related documents. You will also assist with general business analysis and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret reinsurance treaties, amendments, and policy forms to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Assist with the maintenance of Munich Re's treaty templates and document any exceptions to the template.
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to draft new treaties and amendments, and facilitate internal approvals as needed.
  • Ensure that Munich Re's internal treaty log is up-to-date and that any exceptions to template wording are appropriately documented.
  • Participate in various local and/or global Munich Re initiatives involving treaty and related data administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law, English, or similar.
  • Fluency in English and French languages, verbal and written.
  • Insurance/Reinsurance experience is considered an asset.
  • Technical writing experience preferred.
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to manage competing demands with little supervision.
