Job Title: Senior Treaty Associate

At Munich Re, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Treaty Associate to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in drafting and interpreting reinsurance treaties, amendments, and related documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze reinsurance treaties, amendments, and policy forms to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to draft new treaties and amendments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain Munich Re's treaty templates, including documentation of exceptions and updates.
  • Work closely with legal advisors to develop contract wording and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain Munich Re's internal treaty log, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Provide periodic management reports on treaty-related activities and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with home office guidelines and regulatory requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance and participation in global initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, English, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in life (re)insurance.
  • Fluency in English and French languages, verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of living benefits products and reinsurance treaty experience are considered assets.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing demands with minimal supervision.
