About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Sleeman Breweries Ltd. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the trade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory volume and gross margin targets.

Establish Business Relationships

Establish business relationships with customers (retail and/or on premise); advise/provide recommendations regarding Sleeman products, promotions, and sales opportunities; work with customer to develop account plans and priorities.

Hold Regular Business Reviews

Hold regular business reviews with customers to discuss product performance and adjust or revise programs or targets as required.

Manage Expenses

Manage expenses within established budget and implement MUDA reductions.

Review Sales Data

Review sales data and apply knowledge of the territory to identify opportunities and execute sales plans.

Coordinate Key Account and Marketing Programs

Coordinate and execute various Key Account and Marketing programs and provide feedback with regard to the design, implementation, and effectiveness of programs.

Maintain Merchandising Standards

Maintain merchandising standards and work to influence space allotments and product visibility/accessibility based on analysis of sales.

Maintain Customer Information

Maintain up-to-date customer information and sales data in customer relationship management software (CRM).

Participate in Industry Events

Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Sleeman products and build relationship with key stakeholders.

Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends

Remain updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and market insights.

Requirements
  • Sales Experience

Sales experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment is an asset.

Post-Secondary Education

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Experience Executing Sales Plans

Experience executing sales plans and achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth is valued.

Strong Communication Skills

Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.

Computer Skills

Effective communication, both written and verbal; strong presentation skills.

Beverage Alcohol Industry Experience

Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office (CRM 365, Power BI, Excel, Power Point, TEAMS).

Valid Driver's License

Beverage alcohol industry experience is an asset.

Acceptable Credit Check

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to Demonstrate Behaviours

Acceptable credit check.

Smart Serve Training

Ability to demonstrate behaviours compatible with organizational values.
