Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Director, coordinating day-to-day operations and establishing administrative procedures and guidelines.

About the Opportunity

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for:

  • Providing leadership to administrative assistants within the portfolio
  • Scheduling and prioritizing the Senior Director's calendar
  • Initiating meetings and events, preparing documentation, and organizing logistics
  • Organizing travel and accommodation requirements
  • Initiating and composing routine correspondence and administrative documents
  • Tracking and coordinating various issues and projects within the Senior Director's portfolio
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Post-Secondary diploma in office administration, business administration, or secretarial program
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (asset)
  • International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification (asset)
  • 5-7 years of experience providing executive level support and office coordination and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, synthesize information, problem-solve, and utilize good judgment
  • Excellent organizational, follow-through, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated competencies in modern office practices and information and meeting technologies
Hours
  • Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits

$31.61 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
