West Park Health Centre, a 69-bed long-term care facility, is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

  • Provide high-quality resident care in accordance with established nursing standards, principles, and policies.
  • Assess residents' needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Supervise and direct personal care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure safe and accurate medication administration to residents.

Requirements

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, including infection control principles.
  • Experience working with seniors and individuals with cognitive impairments.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong leadership skills and commitment to quality care.
