Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Part-Time, Temporary Contract

Hourly Wage Range: $30.99

General
A thirty (30) hour per pay period, Part-Time Temporary Contract Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) position is being offered in the Radiant Care Tabor Manor Nursing department. The position involves providing safe and efficient personal care for residents, including all activities of daily living, to ensure optimum physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

Scheduled Shifts
Line 4.2.1 Registered Practical Nurse FTE: 0.4000

Responsibilities
Some key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized service in a home-like setting
  • Effectively communicating with residents, staff, and families
  • Providing excellent customer service in a respectful, courteous, and pleasant manner
  • Observing and reporting changes in resident's status
  • Recording necessary data on resident health and provision of service
  • Sharing responsibility for care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of residents
  • Working co-operatively with team members
  • Receiving direction from registered staff
  • Participating in quality improvement activities, in-service sessions, training as required
  • Performing other duties as assigned
