Overall responsibility
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, Canada, this is a Coordinator role supporting various Human Resource functions including Employee Engagement, Administration and General Enquiries.
Key Areas of Duties and Responsibility
- Assist the HR team to provide daily support to ensure smooth operation.
- Support recruitment activities; screen resumes, phone interviews, manager interview scheduling, issue employment offers and background screenings.
- Prepare documents such as new hire contracts and employment letters.
- Initiate the on-boarding process of employees by confirming the IT requests, issue security passes with photos and assign system access.
- Ensure that all new hires have completed the required paperwork. Provide orientations for new employees by sharing on boarding packages and explaining company policies
- Assist with the RAIC process for all employees
- Maintain HR documentation including employee records (soft and hard copies) and ensure all HR databases and systems are up-to-date and accurate.
- Maintaining Uniforms inventory
- Process staff claims
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time
Qualities & Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in HR field.
- Customer Service experience
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Responsible, independent, and self-motivated.
- Well organized, detail oriented and hard-working.
- Detail-minded, with strong analytical skills, positive and proactive.
- Excellent time management, able to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Strong in communication and interpersonal skills.
