Overall responsibility

Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, Canada, this is a Coordinator role supporting various Human Resource functions including Employee Engagement, Administration and General Enquiries.

Key Areas of Duties and Responsibility

  • Assist the HR team to provide daily support to ensure smooth operation.
  • Support recruitment activities; screen resumes, phone interviews, manager interview scheduling, issue employment offers and background screenings.
  • Prepare documents such as new hire contracts and employment letters.
  • Initiate the on-boarding process of employees by confirming the IT requests, issue security passes with photos and assign system access.
  • Ensure that all new hires have completed the required paperwork. Provide orientations for new employees by sharing on boarding packages and explaining company policies
  • Assist with the RAIC process for all employees
  • Maintain HR documentation including employee records (soft and hard copies) and ensure all HR databases and systems are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Maintaining Uniforms inventory
  • Process staff claims
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time

Qualities & Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in HR field.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Responsible, independent, and self-motivated.
  • Well organized, detail oriented and hard-working.
  • Detail-minded, with strong analytical skills, positive and proactive.
  • Excellent time management, able to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Strong in communication and interpersonal skills.
