Position:
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for selling our market leading enterprise SaaS solutions to financial institutions in Canada, and reports to the Head of North America Sales. It will be the Regional Sales Director’s role to ensure that all agreed sales targets are met, or exceeded, in their allocated region. The Regional Sales Director will generate new business through direct selling to leads (both provided and sourced), cold calling, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry.
Location: Remote, ideal candidate is based in Canada with good travel links
Job Responsibilities:
· Driving and developing opportunities from lead generation through to closing opportunities
· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio
· Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets
· Identifying the needs and wants of a potential customer
· Demonstrating software value in person or virtually
· Handling objections from potential sales opportunities
· Preparing and presenting quotations/proposals to sales opportunities
· Negotiating and closing sales
· Maximise client value on all potential sales opportunities
· Provide excellent customer services to clients over the phone or in person
· Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills
· Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances, and networks within industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads
· Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time.
Job qualifications:
· 5+ years of selling software solutions within the financial sector in Canada
· Experience working lengthy sales cycles and proven track record in accelerating opportunities
· Proven record in selling business application software
· Relevant professional sales training and experience
· Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business
· A moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competency
· A valid passport to travel as needed
