Workday Financials Product Owner – Contract Role


Hale International is proud to partner with a leading Financial Services client embarking on an enterprise-wide Workday Financials Implementation. This transformation project is scheduled to go live in July 2025, covering all Workday Financials modules. We are seeking a dynamic Workday Financials Product Owner to take a pivotal role in ensuring the project's success.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Workday Financials Configuration: Oversee the setup and configuration of critical modules, including Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, Grants Management, and Assets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented.
  • Integration Oversight: Manage integrations between Workday Financials and existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Project Milestones: Guide the project through critical phases, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Testing & Validation: Oversee end-to-end testing, ensuring all modules operate as expected and meet organizational needs.
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Provide expert guidance for stabilization and optimization post-go-live.


Qualifications


  • Workday Expertise: At least 5 years of direct experience with Workday Financials, including configuration and implementation.
  • Module Knowledge: Proficiency in multiple Workday Financials modules, excluding Billing, Receivables, and Collections.
  • Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale Workday Financials projects, preferably in Financial Services.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification (Preferred): Workday Financials certification or similar credentials.
