This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and recruiting new franchisees and properties in the assigned territory.

This position is home-office based, and candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.


Description

  • Identify and pursue new franchise opportunities in alignment with the company’s strategic growth plan.
  • Implement targeted acquisition strategies to secure franchise partners in key markets.
  • Consult with prospective franchisees on the benefits and process of joining the franchise network.
  • Prepare proposals for new-builds, conversions, relicenses, and brand repositionings for executive review.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing franchisees.
  • Act as a key brand ambassador, communicating company values, business strategies, and ethical standards.
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to leadership, contributing to overall development strategy.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.


Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in hospitality, business brokerage, franchising, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of real estate dynamics within the assigned territory.
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both in person and through virtual platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to travel as required, with a valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Candidates with experience in hotel sales, franchise development in other sectors (such as QSR), or selling FF&E into the hospitality industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
