National Sales Director

Position Overview: The National Sales Director will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion across Canada. This role involves leading a dynamic sales team, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and identifying new business opportunities to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales planning.
- Set and achieve sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing national sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and negotiations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
- Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and acquire new clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the facilities service industry.
- Strong understanding of the market and business landscape.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
