The Regional Pre-Owned Analyst serves a critical part in supporting our variable operations to provide insight into the fast-changing environment of the used car market. The role is critical in providing data to key stakeholders so that our Regional policies are followed and our dealerships are equipped to run a robust operation.
Essential Duties:

  1. Utilize data to become a specialist in the used vehicle market space getting to know brands, models and trends within the industry.
  2. Analyze and identify patterns in the used vehicle market space and recommend courses of action to proactively adjust inventory needs at our dealerships.
  3. Prepare and develop daily, weekly and monthly outcome and performance reporting across all dealerships in the BC Region.
  4. Identify pre-owned inventory at each dealership that falls outside of our Regional Pre-Owned stocking policies and action where that asset should be relocated to.
  5. Work collaboratively with the operations team to gain an understanding of the new car business to understand the impacts that can occur in the pre-owned segments.
  6. Provide insights to regional and dealership teams to recommend stocking strategies based on profitability and turn rates of each dealership.
  7. Enforce our Regional Pre-Owned Policies and assist in actioning best practices across all dealerships within the BC Region.
  8. Work in close coordination with our dealerships within the BC Region.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the Dilawri Regional team to improve processes across all touch points.
  10. Other duties as assigned by management.
