PROFIL DU CANDIDAT

Nous recherchons un coordinateur logistique pour rejoindre notre équipe du soir et soutenir nos activités en dehors des heures de bureau. En collaboration avec le superviseur logistique, le candidat travaillera sur une série de tâches spécifiques afin d'assister les équipes commerciales dans des activités exceptionnelles. En tant que candidat retenu, vous ferez preuve d'une volonté d'apprendre continuellement et d'appliquer vos connaissances à une série de tâches exceptionnelles qui vous seront confiées, et vous serez capable de travailler en dehors des heures de bureau, de manière semi-autonome. Vous devez répondre aux demandes et aux actions des clients et des fournisseurs au fur et à mesure qu'elles vous parviennent. Vous devez être à l'aise dans divers scénarios de transport dans un environnement exigeant et rapide, qui se consacre avec enthousiasme à la satisfaction du client.

Votre sens de l'urgence, votre esprit de mission, votre souci du détail et votre capacité à travailler efficacement et de manière autonome seront essentiels pour garantir que vos actions répondent aux besoins de notre entreprise et de nos clients.

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES

Le coordinateur logistique en dehors des heures de travail est chargé de superviser de manière autonome une sélection de tâches assignées, en prenant des mesures proactives basées sur des déclencheurs de tâches définis par son superviseur. Il tient des registres et veille au respect des réglementations en matière d'expédition en fonction de la tâche à accomplir. Ils gèrent toutes les tâches qui leur sont confiées, y compris les politiques, les procédures, les objectifs et les performances. Les coordinateurs de la logistique en dehors des heures de travail collaborent également, le cas échéant, avec les membres de leur équipe, la direction et divers autres services afin de tenir les informations à jour, d'attirer l'attention sur les risques découverts et de tenir les parties concernées informées des tâches qui leur incombent.

EXEMPLES DE TÂCHES

  • Exécuter les tâches assignées par l'équipe chargée des heures ouvrables
  • Fournir une assistance en matière de suivi et de traçabilité ainsi que des mises à jour de nos systèmes
  • Vérification de la documentation conformément aux exigences internes et réglementaires
  • Collaborer avec nos fournisseurs tiers pour atteindre les résultats commerciaux souhaités.
  • Gérer et répondre à la communication relative aux expéditions avec diverses parties internes et externes.

  • Se former en permanence et améliorer ses compétences dans le cadre des tâches qui lui sont régulièrement confiées.
  • Traiter d'autres tâches assignées par la direction de temps à autre.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are seeking a logistics coordinator to join our evening team and support our business outside of regular business hours. In collaboration with the logistics supervisor the candidate will work on a series of specific tasks to assist the business teams with outstanding activities. As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate a willingness to continually learn and apply your knowledge to a series of outstanding tasks assigned to you, and be adept at working after hours, semi-autonomously. Actioning customer and vendor requests and actions as they come in. You would demonstrate being at ease working various transportation scenarios in a demanding, fast paced environment that is enthusiastically devoted to customer satisfaction.

Your sense of urgency, mission mindset, attention to detail and ability to work effectively and independently will be crucial in ensuring that your actions are meeting the needs of our business and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

An after-hours logistics coordinator is responsible to autonomously oversee a selection of assigned tasks, proactive actions based on defined task triggers as assigned by their supervisor. They maintain records and ensure compliance with shipping regulations as necessary to the task at hand. You will manage all tasks assigned to you including policies, procedures, objectives, and performance. After-hours Logistics coordinators will also collaborate when the need arises with their team members, leadership, and various other departments keeping information up to date, raising any flags as risks are discovered, and keeping required parties in the know regarding their related tasks.

  • Provide track and trace support and updates to our systems
  • Verification of documentation per internal and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with our third-party vendors to achieve desire business outcomes
  • Manage and respond to communication related to shipments with various internal and external parties
  • Promote OEC’s corporate culture and customer service philosophy
  • Continuously educate and improve skills related to regularly assigned tasks
  • Handling of other tasks as assigned by leadership from time to time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understands and continuously works towards an environment of collaboration and teamwork

  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Be accountable for deficiencies and errors and invest in necessary efforts to improve

  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.

  • Environment: This position operates in a standard office environment.
  • Training: An integration plan is in place for this position and additional training can be developed in collaboration with the successful candidate.
  • This role comes with an after-hours hourly premium in addition to regular compensation.
