About Us: Code Ninjas is a leading kids' coding franchise that aims to teach children aged 5-15 how to code while having fun through exciting and engaging projects. Our Code Ninjas Guildford center is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Senseis (Teachers). If you're enthusiastic about nurturing young minds, fostering creativity, and helping the next generation of tech leaders, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Key Role: As a Code Ninjas Centre Director, you will be responsible for educating the children's parents about our curriculum and what we do at Code Ninjas. You'll guide them through our curriculum, which includes block-based coding, JavaScript, C#, and various coding languages.
  2. Monitoring Teachers: Ensuring communication with the classroom is constant allowing for seamlessness between our classroom and front desk.
  3. Curriculum Implementation: Execute our carefully crafted curriculum that allows students to progress from White belt to Black belt coding, ultimately enabling them to create their own video games and apps.
  4. Classroom Management: Ensure a safe and organized classroom environment. Manage the classroom effectively, assisting students with their projects, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  5. Center Operations: Contribute to the daily operations of the Code Ninjas Guildford center, including assisting with events, and helping maintain the center's equipment and resources.
  6. Parent Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with parents to update them on their child's progress, answer questions, and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for coding, education, and working with children.
  • A general understanding of coding languages (JavaScript, C#, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in teaching or working with children is a plus.
  • Previous experience working as a receptionist is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

  • Signing bonus
