Marketing Lead


In-Country Marketing Position

Lead the messaging and outbound product marketing communication activities for Dodge® Industrial Canada, being responsible for presenting the products in ways that will strengthen the brand and increase revenue. For this role, you must be an organized, creative, and quantitative thinker with technical communication skills. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques associated with the development of product-specific asset creation and the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns. Your goal will be to support the success of the product geographies and industries that you are responsible for through the development and implementation of the most profitable marketing tactics to position and promote our products.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Dodge products
  • Assist and collaborate with country management, sales leadership in creating product messaging and marketing tactics.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate marketing and in-country personnel on multiple fronts.
  • Ensure that all in-country marketing activities align with global Dodge brand standards, guidelines, and practices.
  • Develop, manage, and execute messaging for product and industry-focused promotions, acquiring and distributing leads to the sales organization.
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies and campaigns including:

Campaign positioning based on the target audience

Media advertising

Content marketing

Public relations

Digital and social

Collateral development

Distributor marketing

In-person marketing (tradeshows)

  • Translate technical details into benefits for the end user.
  • Manage in-country distributor marketing programs.
  • Craft compelling messages consistent with brand positioning across marketing channels
  • Lead and manage local-language literature translations.
  • Develop and manage the process to print and otherwise make all literature available in the appropriate country
  • Develop and manage the process for in-country merchandising.
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute both regional and national trade shows.
  • Lead the expansion and use of global marketing automation and CRM platforms.


Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • 5+ years developing and executing an overarching marketing and communications strategy that aligns with and supports business and marketing growth strategies
  • Proven experience in a product marketing or communications role with industrial/technical product marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in market research/analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Strong knowledge of content development for omnichannel distribution (social, PR, advertising, digital, etc.)
  • Understanding of marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and time management/prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
  • Experience with event planning and/or tradeshow management
  • Fluency in English & French


Education:

  • BA or BS / in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field


Work Experience:

  • 5+ years preferred
