Job Summary: PART-TIME

We are seeking a skilled Human Resource Coordinator to oversee all aspects of HR practices and processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, program management, and change management. Duties:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Kronos, Dayforce, and ADP for efficient workforce management.
  3. Serve as a member of the management team and report directly to the General Manager.
  4. Responsible for the administration of hiring, terminations, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, and onboarding.
  5. Support the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
  6. Responsibilities include development and administration of personnel rules and regulations, pay and job classification structure, and employee training, safety, health, and morale.
  7. Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
  8. Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  9. Drive change management initiatives to support organizational growth.
  10. Oversee program management related to training, development, and performance evaluation.

IATF Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Organizational Responsibilities:
  • Report on performance of QMS.
  • Suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure integrity of QMS is maintained.

  • Review and approve for suitability.

  • Competent in Workplace Safety & Insurance Board disability management.
  • Ability to determine & enforce legal regulatory and safety requirements in compliance with current Provincial & Federal regulations.
  • Ability to establish policies and procedures for management of the company and Human Resource Dept.
  • Effective Leadership Skills.
  • Competent in time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong skills in talent acquisition, change management, program management, and employee relations.
