Human Resources (HR) Administrator/Office Administrator– Job Description
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
- Maintain and update employee records, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and offboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities.
- Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and performance management systems.
- Office Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail.
- Coordinate office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are available and properly stocked.
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and company events, including travel arrangements for staff when necessary.
- Support the management team with administrative tasks, such as document preparation, data entry, and report generation.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including overseeing office maintenance and liaising with vendors.
Human Resources (HR) Administrator/Office Administrator– Mandatory Skills
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience in HR administration, office administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
- Ability to work 100% on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
Human Resources (HR) Administrator/Office Administrator– Preferred Skills
- Experience in the food or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HR software or systems.
