POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the General Manager, this position provides administrative support and helps to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the properties. This role will be based at one of our West GTA offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collecting, reconciling, and entering monthly rents in JD Edwards.
  • Maintain and update tenant files, tenant/vendor insurance tracking, utility account tracking.
  • Prepare correspondence as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of service contracts, temporary lease contracts.
  • Assist in resolving tenant issues including reviewing tenant leases.
  • Provide additional assistance in resolving day-to-day issues as required.
  • Maintain accounting / invoicing procedures in conjunction with Head Office, including processing supplier invoices, entering purchase orders into JD Edwards, and preparing monthly tenant service invoices.
  • Actively participate in accounts receivable meetings with GM and AR Department ensuring action items are addressed and followed up on.
  • Collect and Co-ordinate all information for proposed assignment packages within the West GTA.
  • Other duties / projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration or Business/Accounting.
  • 3 years of previous relevant experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Real Estate and/or Property Management.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
