Role: PEGA Business Analyst

Location: Calgary, AB (Day 1 Onsite)


Who are we looking for?

An experienced (6-8 years) Pega Business Analyst, to support ongoing initiatives related to Pega Platform development.


Technical Skills:

 6+ years of experience in eliciting and gathering business and user requirements from stakeholders, experienced in Pega Platform requirements.

 Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for Pega-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.

 Interacts with business partners and/or IT staff to gather and document information related to requirements and/or software testing for full life cycle of project.

 Study, analyze and document customer’s business processes and operational scenarios and associates them to software deliverables.

 Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, deliverables, and timelines.

 Analyze customer requirements and write functional specifications ensuring user-friendliness, optimized product performance, ease of development and maintenance.

 Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain business requirements for various projects and/or systems from initial phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet standards. Independently sorts low to medium complexity business issues to recommend appropriate direction.

 Negotiate with customer/ team on the requirements scope and timelines, as required.

 Analyze root cause and support customer issues within the service level agreement.

 Develop and document use cases & functional documentation. Coordinate the capture of process models and functional testing, ensuring system is functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated.

 Develop and manage user acceptance criteria.

 Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports, as necessary.

 Provide user support and coordinate resolution of issues to include Change Management, Root Cause Analysis, and appropriate escalation as needed.

 Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

 Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.

 Collaborate and coordinate with onsite and offshore team members in a fast-paced distributed development environment.

 Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

 Professional, clear and effective communication skills


Qualification:

University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Business Intelligence technical experience.
