Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for scaling our operations, establishing and overseeing processes, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all seasons and special events. This role is essential for driving the league's growth by enhancing efficiency and operational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and improve processes for event and league planning and execution
  • Standardize procedures for scheduling and staffing for all programs and events
  • Enhance inventory management and procurement of TFFL equipment
  • Manage and support the Administrative Coordinator
  • Oversee venue management, including permits, field lining, setup, and cleanup
  • Evaluate and implement software solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Assist the Director of Football Operations in hiring and coordinating school events
  • Support the Director of Football Operations in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
  • Liaise with external partners, including the Graphic Designer and Social Media Ad company, to ensure effective promotion of leagues and events
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other organizations
  • Gather and address feedback from league participants and their families



Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in operations management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing teams
  • Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements• Proficiency with scheduling and management software
  • Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills
  • Knowledge of sports league operations is a plus



Unique Working Hours:

The typical work schedule will be 9am-5pm working virtually from home. During the seasons and when we have events, the role will include being at the field/event. As a result, office hours will be adjusted to accommodate these commitments.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation commensurate with experience (paid bi-weekly)
  • 2 weeks vacation with flexible work schedule
