As the events & tradeshow manager, your responsibilities will include:
  1. Event management: Planning our presence at the event, covering logistics, promotional materials, invitation management, coordination of meetings with potential customers, follow-up strategy, and much more.
  2. Activity performance reports: Producing reports on the performance of our events and campaigns, and analyzing and following up with the rest of the team to determine which investments yield the best results.
  3. Internal comms: Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders for every event, including marketing, sales, BD, and leadership. Keeping them informed on the plan, resources, and blockers to ensure global alignment between teams.
  4. Budget tracking: Building your investment and ROI plan per event, tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely payment of invoices with accounting.
  5. Research: Researching various events we should attend or sponsor, as well as other opportunities, and making internal recommendations.
  6. Internal collaboration and coordination: Working with campaign managers on communication plans around the events, as well as with content specialists and designers to ensure timely delivery of projects and campaigns.
Here Is What Will Qualify You For The Role
  1. 3+ years of experience in B2B event management.
  2. Exceptional organization and deadline management skills.
  3. Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in previous roles.
  4. Proficiency in Salesforce, Marketo, or similar CRM/marketing automation systems.
What Would Make You Stand Out
  1. Degree in Marketing, Administration, or Communications.
  2. Comfortable leading an on-site team of up to 20 members, comprising various departments and leadership levels.
  3. Track record of making data-driven decisions and an innate drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
  4. Strong ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
