Water Treatment Systems- Sales Engineer

About the Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts for their cutting-edge In-Situ Wastewater Treatment Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first sales hire in what could grow into a larger team as the company expands. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the B2B sales, focusing on the mining sector, and helping expand the market share with a highly technical and innovative product. You will be traveling to mine sites to meet with potential clients, understand their needs, and showcase the benefits of the patented technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and expand market share.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the mining and environmental sectors.
- Conduct presentations to clients on the advantages of our technology, focusing on its ability to ensure safe, green water discharge and facilitate valuable metal recovery from mine wastewater.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
- Provide consultative sales expertise, addressing client needs and identifying how our technology can help solve complex wastewater treatment challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction post-sale.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the mining, wastewater treatment, or environmental technology sectors.
- Proven success in selling complex technical solutions with a consultative sales approach.
- Strong understanding of business-to-business (B2B) sales strategies and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, mining operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate technical product specifications and benefits.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mining Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
