Step 1: Determine Your Eligibility
  • Before applying for Canadian PR, determine your eligibility. The eligibility criteria may vary based on the immigration program you are applying under, such as Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), or others.
  • If you are eligible, create an Express Entry profile online. Express Entry is the most common pathway for high-skilled workers to obtain Canadian PR.
  • Calculate your CRS score based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and more.
Step 4: Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
  • If your CRS score is high enough, you may receive an ITA through Express Entry. This ITA allows you to apply for Canadian PR.
  • Collect all the necessary documents, such as educational credentials, language test results, proof of work experience, police certificates, and medical exams.
  • Create an online account with the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to submit your PR application.
  • Fill out the PR application forms online and upload your supporting documents through your online account.
