Looking for an experienced commercial insurance account executive with a commercial AMF license to join a large award wining brokerage in the Greater Montreal area. The successful candidate will manage an assigned book of business consisting mostly of commercial automobile and transportation clients.

Location: Montreal - hybrid
Responsibilities:
Sell and service P&C insurance to potential and current clients by preparing marketing and strategies for new business and renewals. Recommend new and additional coverages and obtain quotes for clients.
Work primarily within the main client sector of the assigned territory.
Collaborate with other units (including benefits and life insurance divisions) to develop and promote cross-market accounts, obtain new accounts, and identify opportunities within an account territory.
Stay current on industry trends and their impact on clients to help solve market-specific problems.
Create presentations and proposals, respond to requests for proposals, obtain competitive insurance quotes, revise proposals as needed, and close sales.
Work closely with the customer service team to achieve assigned goals and renewal targets. Ensure all team members are aware of pending client issues, including claims, evolving needs, service plan implementation, and any other relevant matters.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurers by demonstrating judgment and discretion in entrusting client coverage.
Participate in special assignments and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of commercial brokerage experience (transportation preferred, not required)
Fully bilingual, French and English
Valid AMF License -- Commercial Property and Casualty
Excellent team spirit and ability to adapt to and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
Proven technical skills.
Consulting, relationship, and management skills that foster long-lasting relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong computer skills, experience with EPIC is an asset

Responsabilités :
- Vendre et assurer le service d'assurance de dommages aux clients potentiels et actuels en préparant des stratégies de marketing pour les nouvelles affaires et les renouvellements. Recommander de nouvelles protections additionnelles et obtenir des soumissions pour les clients.
- Travailler principalement dans le secteur principal de clients du territoire assigné.
- Collaborer avec les autres divisions (incluant les divisions d'assurance collective et d'assurance-vie) pour développer et promouvoir les comptes multimarché, obtenir de nouveaux comptes et identifier les opportunités au sein du territoire.
- Se tenir à jour sur les tendances de l'industrie et leur impact sur les clients pour aider à résoudre les problèmes spécifiques au marché.
- Créer des présentations et des propositions, répondre aux appels d'offres, obtenir des soumissions d'assurance concurrentielles, réviser les propositions au besoin et conclure les ventes.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe du service à la clientèle pour atteindre les objectifs assignés et les cibles de renouvellement. S'assurer que tous les membres de l'équipe sont au courant des enjeux clients en cours, incluant les réclamations, les besoins évolutifs, l'implantation du plan de service et tout autre sujet pertinent.
- Établir et maintenir de solides relations avec les assureurs en faisant preuve de jugement et de discrétion dans la confiance des protections des clients.
- Participer à des mandats et projets spéciaux selon les besoins.
Qualifications requises :
- 3+ ans d'expérience en courtage commercial (expérience en transport un atout, non obligatoire)
- Parfaitement bilingue, français et anglais
- Permis AMF valide -- Assurance de dommages des entreprises
- Excellent esprit d'équipe et capacité d'adaptation et de collaboration avec divers intervenants internes et externes
- Compétences techniques éprouvées
- Aptitudes en consultation, relations et gestion favorisant des relations durables
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, particulièrement Word, Excel et Outlook
- Solides compétences informatiques, expérience avec EPIC un atout
