Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Develop strong relationships with all new and current clients/prospects
  • Partner with the Recruiters to accomplish team goals and hiring needs by liaising with all new incoming orders and scheduling meetings upon initial call/inquiry
  • Attend networking events, assist team with Public Relations and Media presentations
  • Maintain relationships with clients through regular meetings, callbacks, follow-up, visits, lunches and gift deliveries
  • Stay on top of workplace, economic and business trends in the province and city
  • Present ideas to Marketing regarding building the business


Education:

  • Relevant post-secondary education is an asset.


Qualifications:

  • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Clean criminal record
  • Must be results driven, detail-oriented, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be self-confident with exceptional customer service skills


Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in sales required
  • 3-5+ years experience in business development an asset
  • Industry experience a huge asset


Skills:

  • Must be computer literate at an intermediate level
  • Strong decision-making and time-management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer oriented nature
  • Must be adaptable, flexible, and function effectively in a team environment
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Show initiative in suggesting new procedures, systems and methods, and creative ideas to improve quality of service


Base Salary:

  • Base salary based on experience
  • Commission
  • Health spending account + lifestyle/wellbeing allowance
  • Continuing education allowance
  • RRSP matching


Work Hours:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8AM-4:30PM
  • Occasional evenings/weekends to attend events/functions


Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
