PRIMARY ROLE

The Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist is responsible for:


  • Ensuring optimized, accurate and timely flow of materials and equipment in accordance with Tridyne policies and standards.
  • Ensuring that all documents and records are maintained and organized appropriately.
  • As needed, the Expeditor will perform other procurement and administrative duties.


RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY TASKS

  • Optimizing Tridyne’s sourcing, procurement and expediting of materials and equipment.
  • Receive, log, track, file and monitor vendor documents, ensuring supplier invoices are approved.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding orders and finding solutions to resolve any issues as they arise.
  • Provide updates to Project Managers with regard to any issues in sourcing equipment or materials and lead times to their arrival on site.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping to ensure accurate and timely flow of
  • information with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain good relationships with Suppliers.
  • Supplier evaluations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external departments.
  • Receive, log, track, file and monitor vendor documents.
  • Conduct additional tasks as directed by the Procurement Lead.

  • Ensuring the best possible value in conjunction with optimized delivery in expediting activities.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is in order.
  • Attending to internal and external expediting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring a safe workplace environment in adherence to company and legislated safety standards.
  • Procurement and Document Control
  • The Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist influences decisions regarding the procurement of equipment and materials, and related logistics, including supplier and bid evaluation and selection.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Post-Secondary Education / Designation Supplementary Educational Needs -

  • Certificate or Diploma in Purchasing or Business Administration Program
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Internet applications


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 15 years’ experience in procurement roles of increasing scope of responsibility, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.


KNOWLEDGE BASE REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of procurement practices and processes within the oil and gas industry.
  • Understanding of clients’ business and related processes to provide appropriate and quality
  • solutions quickly and efficiently with regard to procurement.
  • Knowledge of, and ability to comply with, standards and procedures in Tridyne Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
