Manager - Accounting

Robertson is seeking a skilled Manager - Accounting to join our client. This role involves corporate & personal tax returns, preparing financial statements, and managing a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a coach and guide to the wider team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements, corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, T5013 partnership returns, T3 trust returns, T4/T4A/NR4/T5 information slips, T5001 tax shelter slips, GST and EHT returns, ETD calculations, and WSIB calculations.
- Review of client engagement files.
- Manage multiple engagements
- Coordinate team member engagement assignments, including developing long-term schedules and updating current ones.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 4 years experience working in a mid-sized firm
- 1-2 years of management experience
- CPA designation or CFE passed
- Strong background in Canadian income tax
- Experience using Caseware & Tax Prep

- High level of attention to detail
