Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring monthly rent payments and following up with tenants as required.
  • Coordinating with other Property Administrators the delivery of the monthly rent receipt report.
  • Preparing tenant communications regarding rent increases, recoveries, insurance and other matters as required. Utilizing the tenant service call system and tracking all tenant complaints and requests.
  • Assisting the Property Manager with lease renewal and new leasing matters.
  • Assisting with the development of operations procedures for specific properties and overall property management activities.
  • Processing quotes, invoices and claims for completed work.
  • Preparing annual operating and tenant recovery budgets and monthly comparison of actual to budget.
  • Managing, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of the tenant, property database.
  • Assisting in the due diligence of potential acquisitions, including coordination of consultants, reporting of results, assembly of finance information, and assembly of final recommendation report.
  • Completing monthly utility consumption spreadsheet, addressing any issues with billing, maintaining tenant insurance expiry records, maintaining proof of property tax payments and property tax appeal authorizations for all properties.



Requirements:


  • Minimum five years’ commercial real estate experience and basic accounting experience.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and foreseeing areas where the organization can be proactive.
  • Health and safety administration experience would be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel are essential.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities in a flexible, deadline-driven environment.
