HR Business Partner GeneralistWe are looking for a People Partner Generalist who will be the main point of contact for the Canada region and provide some additional support for North America. Will need to be in an office at least 3 days per week with occasional travel between Ontario/Quebec (25%).
Responsibilities:- The candidate will report into the Head of HR for N. America
- Focus on day-to-day support of employees and leaders with onboarding, manager coaching, employee engagement, DE&I, etc
- Consultant to managers for things like high level employee relations, performance evaluations, policy interpretation and compliance items
- Assist with soft skill training programs i.e. career development, leadership, etc.
- Foster culture of inclusivity
- Work with the internal People team and employees with some operational items i.e. benefits, policy questions, etc. that are escalated from the People Ops team
- Help lead various People projects within the region to gain compliance, improve processes, service delivery, and manager effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree – human resources, psychology, learning, business administration or commensurate experience
- 5-7 years' experience as an HR lead working in a global team
- Working knowledge of Canadian HR policy, specifically for Ontario and Quebec
- Certification in HR a plus
- Has handled employee investigations and grievances.
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal in English and French) and strong interpersonal skills.
