Senior Program Manager (Wealth Enablement and Transformation)

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2 days in office (Mondays + Wednesdays) – 3 days WFH)
Contract Length: 6 Months with possibility for extension.

Responsibilities:

This is a demanding hands-on and strategic role which requires the incumbent to be knowledgeable of the financial services sector, knowledgeable in emerging digital trends in the Wealth Management industry, and has deep experience in collaboration with international teams, especially Pacific Alliance, Central America & Caribbean regions.

  1. Lead delivery and governance of IWM Business Initiatives:
    1. Lead International Wealth Management business initiatives in alignment with the Program management framework, governance, and tools to ensure execution success. Leverage existing centers of excellence and enterprise PMO for guidance.
    2. Lead the development and structuring of IWM business initiatives (e.g., Total Wealth Advisory Model, Private Banking) into relevant workstreams.
    3. Provide program management leadership and senior executive communication for IWM business initiatives. This includes leading steering committee meetings, inclusion of Wealth content in bank or divisional communications and tracking of expenditures against budget.
    4. Work closely with business teams and other stakeholders globally to ensure momentum on deliverables & milestones. Lead teams in resolving conflicts and roadblocks with business teams and other stakeholders to ensure momentum on deliverables & milestones.
    5. Effectively and proactively manage financials. Prepare funding requests & business cases in line with Finance and ePMO guidelines (e.g., yearly SIP). Manage the business cases associated with key initiatives.
  2. Partner with in-country Advisory and Client Solutions teams for alignment & transparency purposes:
    1. Work closely with in-country Advisory and Client Solutions Leads to ensure successful management and implementation of business initiatives within IWM.
    2. Own accurate updates of IWM business initiatives.
    3. Practice cross-matrix organizational leadership, i.e. influence those beyond immediate team and stakeholders.
  3. Identify opportunities & champion best-in-class program management:
    1. Continuously improve program management framework, governance and tools to ensure execution success. Leverage existing centers of excellence and enterprise PMO for guidance.
    2. Champion continuous delivery improvement, such as using feedback forms, relationship building.
    3. Design quorums to ensure best usage of time, utilize Bank’s standard on Better at Meetings best practices.
    4. Thoroughly understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager.
  • 3-5+ years’ demonstrated experience delivering Business/Wealth Enablement and Transformation Program.
Nice to Have:
  • Spanish (written/verbal) is an asset.
Education:

No specific education – focus is on experience.
