Full job description

Type of position: Regular

An overview of your future role at BBA:

  1. Process purchase order requests.
  2. Create purchase orders in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and send them to suppliers.
  3. Ensure the firm's various projects are properly charged.
  4. Follow up on open purchase orders with requestors.
  5. Monitor costs and the budget for some corporate projects.
  6. Support the firm's various departments in requesting quotes to purchase goods and services and, if necessary, negotiate with suppliers.
  7. Each year, review agreements and prices for certain suppliers and maintain good relationships with them.
  8. Every month, reconcile transactions that were paid using corporate credit cards in the Procurement department.
  9. Perform annual assessments of our corporate suppliers.
  10. Help continually improve methods, tools, procedures and systems related to procurement.

Overview of certifications and job requirements:

  1. Specialized graduate degree, university certificate or college diploma in Procurement or Administration, or any other combination of equivalent training
  2. At least five years of experience in procurement or any other relevant experience
  3. Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
  4. Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  5. Asset: Knowledge of an ERP like Maconomy
  6. Asset: Experience with recovery and logistics
