Case Manager

We are seeking a professional Case Manager who is passionate about working hard to find the right solutions for your clients. An individual who is motivated, hard-working, and a quick learner to develop an understanding of the structured settlement industry.
- Toronto based position
- Starting as remote, possible change to Hybrid position (2-3 days in office per week) in the near future
- 1 Year Contract
What you will do:
- Work directly with clients; in person and/or remotely; e-mail, phone, video calls, etc.
- Managing all new and ongoing cases by delivering excellent customer service and timely responses.
- Maintain multiple current and open cases on an ongoing basis and maintain records of communication.
- Advise clients on structured settlement options and professional advice for their current and future needs.
- Drafting reports to clients.
- Quoting on software systems, preparing schedules, and drafting documents and correspondence.
- Data analysis - Preparing quotes and calculations on future care needs.
- Attend conferences and events throughout the year and prepare appropriate materials required.
- Business Development – reaching out to new and prospective clients, while maintaining current clients.
- Speaking Engagements – participate in and set up speaking events as required.
- Take care of any/all Office Management.
- Assist and work with the team on additional office tasks as required.
- Lead or assist the team with any new and ongoing projects.
- Research as required.
What you will need:
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience full-time in the insurance industry
- Current and valid LLQP license with no prior issues
- Driver’s license - travel required
- Related University degree or diploma

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in writing business communication to clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent Customer Service experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word
- Self-driven, motivated, and takes initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills
